(gluten free) fried rice

a veggie-packed, hearty, brown fried rice
i use olive oil, onion, garlic, hawaiian sea salt, and bacon
to add flavor to this island staple instead of shoyu.
topped with fresh avocado and a fried egg,
this fried rice is a complete, delicious breakfast.

kealopiko - makahiki 2011/2012 collection

kealopiko: belly of a fish; choice to hawaiians (na puke wehewehe 'olelo hawai'i)

kealopiko is in it's sixth year of creating 'ike hawai'i inspired clothing.
their designs are pleasing to the eye and adorn the body in comfort and in style.
each piece shares a mo'olelo hawai'i to remind us
of the stories of hawai'i's past that continue to shape hawai'i's existence.
and that is why i love, love, LOVE them.
they are choice to this hawaiian.
